Catering Services Manager
Status: Full Time
Shifts: Varied
Salary: Negotiable
Skills/Experience Required:
The successful candidate for this position should be highly motivated and possess previous food & beverage or banquet catering experience in a hotel environment. The Catering Services Manager will be responsible for servicing the details of convention, meeting, wedding and other business once the function has been booked at the hotel (i.e. audio visual requirements, final menu details, room set up, etc). Responsibilities also include booking new catering business at the hotel. The candidate must have excellent computer skills, including working knowledge of Delphi. A good command of the English language, as well as strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills are definite requirements. A College or University education is a definite asset. A flexible work schedule is necessary.
Security Agent
Status: Part Time
Shifts: Varied
Salary: $15.98 per hour probationary/$16.48 per hour after
Skills/Experience Required:
The candidate must be a graduate of a Law Enforcement Program or have at least one years experience as a Security Agent. The candidate must be able to work varied shifts and have strong spoken and written communication skills. Performs the security and fire safety functions for the Hotel and Office Building, which includes retail facilities, parking facilities and office complex. Must have First-Aid/CPR certification or be willing to obtain the certification. Must also possess a Private Investigator or Security Guard license from the Province of Ontario.
Room Attendant
Status: Part Time
Shifts: Varied (including evenings and weekends)
Salary: $12.84 probationary/$16.05 after probation
Skills/Experience Required:
The candidate should have previous experience in the cleaning, dusting and vacuuming of guest rooms. A good knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures is a definite asset (ie: WHMIS). In addition, the candidate must have a good oral and written communication skills. Must be able to perform heavy lifting. Job requires repeat bending and lifting.
